Nuc Travel Distance 550 miles

This spring I have the oportunity to bring back several nuc's, a distance of about 550 miles, 2 days travel time.
The price is right "free", and good bees.

I have transported nuc's a hundred miles with no problems.

Any one carried them this long of distance ?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Does 1200 miles in 19 hours by myself count? :-P

Most important is make sure they have plenty of ventilation and do not overheat.   Spraying them with water also helps.   And of course,  the quicker you make the trip the better.
