There is a very cool service available online.  The National Allergy Bureau™ (NAB™) is the section of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology's (AAAAI) Aeroallergen Network that is responsible for reporting current pollen and mold spore levels to the public.  They don't have reporting stations all over, but if they have one close to you you can get a very good idea of what is blooming by their pollen reports.  Here is some of the information I Received in a pollen report from 3 days ago:

QuoteStation:  Colorado Springs (Station 1), CO
Asthma & Allergy Associates, PC
Station Head(s): Robert A Nathan, MD FAAAAI
Date of Pollen and Mold Count: 02/21/2011

They send you periodic emails with the information and you can choose up to 3 of their stations to get reports from.  You need to set an account with them at the My NAB link.  I can't post the link here yet as I am still a New Bee on the forum.  Don't know when I will be able to post links, but until then you can PM me and I can send it to you .

I have been getting reports from them for 3 years now.  The last report I received in 2010 was on 10/20 with a report of low concentrations of Goosefoot, Lamb's Quarters, Pigweed, Amaranth, Saltbush and Russian Thistle pollen.
