Poking around I noticed Kathyp has 9999 posts!   I would like to bow to her and thank her for all of the great advice she gives on this forum.  Her balanced answers and honest opinions have really helped me over the last two years.  And she maintains her cool lots longer than some of you boys!!

Thanks Kathy!! and congrats on the milestone!

love,

Wow, there it is number 10,000!

I have to agree with the girls, you do keep your cool better than the boys!  Not only that, but you pass along a lot of great bee advice in the process.  Lord knows I've gained some great bee keeping tips from you.  Thanks for sharing your knowledge Kathy.

oh, and if sharing your knowledge and encouraging newbees in a daunting new adventure is a sad commentary on your life, well I disagree. :)  I think it's a great comment on your generosity.

But I don't want to get all gooey.  I know how you hate bleeding hearts . . .  lol.

(sorry, it's finally going to be sunny and warm again this weekend and i'm feeling all feisty! :D)

Yes, thank you Kathy for always posting reply's and helping so much. I have been beekeeping since 2006, and I still do not feel totally sure of myself in answering the many questions put forth by members. I am glad you have the confidence to share your knowledge.

Sincerely
Annette

Aw, she knows we all love her. If she ever quits, we'll go chain her to the computer.  Yep, she's an inspiration. Many times she has helped me keep quiet when I was ready to explode.
Thanks, Kathy.

Thanks for sharing your expertise Kathy and for your level headedness (new word)!  I have learned a lot from you and many other posters here - Thanks!

you guys are very kind.  thing is, most of what i have learned, i have learned at the feet of the real masters here.  everything else is from my own screw ups.  i don't know much but if i have found something that works...or not, i hope that sharing it helps others.  i am continually learning from those who have been at this for many more year than i.  they are the ones who should be thanked on a regular basis for being willing to help the rest of us out.

an ziffabeek...thanks for not bleeding all over things

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Congrats KathyP to 10k plus posts!  Just think if that was one a day that would only take 27 plus years.
