Has anyone notice bees carrying away other bees from the hive? Are they saying farewell to sick or dying bees ?  It looks awkward since they can barely fly carrying another bee

Yeah thats what they're doing, mine have been carrying them all the way over the house and out of the yard before they drop them.

Im setting next to the hives.  Its not that hard to see when you have a blue sky as a background.

I saw one the other day and it made me laugh. It looked like a helicopter with the bee going around and around in circles carrying that dead bee. Never did see it get dropped off.
