I have not really seen any honey storage as of yet. However we have had a very wet spring, 75% of the day have been raining.

How is everyone else doing?

2 of the hives have filled 2 supers each so far.  Most not so good so far.

Been a poor year for me! Cold, Hot, Cold, Rain --- not necessarily in that order, but you get the picture. It is the time of year for our major flow,  but I ain't seeing it :(

Should just be starting here in mid michigan.  Fruit trees starting to blossom, and dandelions have made thier first appearance!

Bees are working the dandylions hard.  Cherrys, Apples, and Plums all opening up the last few days.  Unfortunately, we have had 2 days of rain, with 3 more predicted before crawling back into the mid 60's.  Not much storage happening, although the packages have more than doubled in size.

This spring has been very wet and mild temps.  We didn't have any daytime Temps above 55 degrees until mid April, and only 3-4 since and we're stil experiencing night time temps in the mid to low 30's.  Rain 5 days out of 7 on average.  Still getting snow at higher elevations (4000 ft+).
The standard bloom time of many pollen and nectar sources seems to be all out of wack.
Hives are having a difficulty building up as a result.
We are in the middle of what would considered out spring flow with lots of blooms but few days to forage.
