Uncalled for sting

First year beek with two TTBHs. I only received a minor sting when installing the packages and since then have not had any.

Yesterday, while helping at a Church camp (several miles from my hives), I walk through some clover and POW a bee gets under the strap on my sandal and nails me.

Come-on. I am trying to help these little buggers survive and out of the blue they attack for no reason. Not fair.

You were ambushed by your own Bee's, they dogged you until they had a chance.

The bee may have been from a neighbors rival hive.
