There are supers on each hive alllllmooooosttt ready.  Maybe a third of the honey is already capped.  I will check again in ten days or so, but the harvest cant be far off now.

You might find these 10 days to be very long. Start reading War and Peace.  :lau: :lau: :lau: :lau:

If you ger the right conditions and you have a good population, they might suyrprise you and fill up fast.  I got very pleasantly surprised when I found I had not taken enough supers out to give my hives more room!  Go Team go!!  I am waiting for my first honey crop since 1984.  That one was about 38,000 pounds but I don't think we will do that with six five frame nucs that I split up to a dozen colonies.

Checking on the bees revealed they have been ve ry busy.  I took twice as many supers as I was expecting and there is lots of honey left in the hives.  The boxes will go back on as the hives are crowded and a small flow is expected in the fall which is honey for the bees.

Happy beekeeper.:)
