Just like many others I am going to start keeping bees, but I am doing research FIRST. I live in MN, but grew up in WI on a dairy farm and we had a local bee keeper Rudy who kept some of his hives on our property and I was always fascinated by the bees and hives. So now that I am in my 40's (did I just really admit that?) I have decided I want bees!! So that is that. I am happy to be here and I have been lurking awhile and think I have learned some things but there is so much info I am starting to get confused. So I thought it best to join this forum so I can actualy ask questions.

Welcome to the forum.  :cheer:  and yes you did just admit your age.  :lau:

But to a lot of us I am sure you are a young'n. Age does not mean knowledge it just means we do more things right because we are slower runners.  :brian:  -Mike

Listen to others but make your own decisions. That way you own the results.
