Hi, my name is Paul. I live in tiny town called Dwight and I am a complete novice when it comes to bees. I had a colony I purchased 3 years ago but unfortunately it did not make it through the ice storm we had 2 years ago. I love bees. They make me relax. I could watch them work all day. I still have my hive so I am in preparations to catch me some feral bees and hopefully expand to nice a size apiary. I have 5 kids and they all love honey including me, so I hope I will acquire as much information I can to make my future in beekeeping a success.

P.S If you are in area between Manhattan and Emporia, KS give me a shout out. I can not seem to find any beekeepers in my area.

Hi, Paul and congrats on new endeavors! Hey I'm not a beekeeper, wish I was (sigh!) but I love coming here and buzz-ying myself with everyone else's lovely girlies!

I'm in Kansas City but I do come out to Lawrence to compete with my border collie Eluane at the AKC agility trials, lol! So I'm just a bit too far East and too far north :( Now if I were a MACH (Master Agility Champion) like my friend in Chicago, Tim Dyer, you'd definitely see me pass through your area, lol! eb route to the other Kansas AKC competitions.

Anyway, have fun and hope you write often at our forum!
