So nice to get a warm welcome!  And to see people close to me!!  Being a new beekeeper is quite intimidating at first.  So much to learn!

Hi Bjorn!

Great site!  Just printed my membership form as well!  Hope I am allowed to join as you are a bit far out from me.  But I like to stay as informed as possible.  Really great reading local information!!

BjornBee

Glad to have you a member.

We have members all across the state. (As well as Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and California.) Even if you just make one or two primary functions (Spring workshop, picnic) with the newsletters and weekly emails, and our outreach program, it is certainly worth the investment.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome to the forum. I grew up in Levittown Pa. Tried to go back after I retired from the Navy. Wife wanted nothing to do with snow again. I left her on her own a few too many times with 3 foot snow falls in Maryland.

Oh Jim!

I don't blame you a bit!  The winters are so dreary here in Pittsburgh.  Would love to have warmer winters somewhere else.

My wonderful rose friend Jim is from Tyrone Pennsylvania and they experienced the earthquake rumbling...He emails me several times a day, so it's like he's my "neighbor friend" lol! so yes, I'm expecting you Pennsylvanians also got a similiar shimmy-shakedown. Most of my family is still in PA and my niece went in to her 2 year old daughter's room to get her up and her daughter pointed to clothes hanging in the closet and told her they were dancing. My niece just laughed and thought she had a good imagination until she later heard about the earth quake on the news.
