I didnt extract any last year, but this year the Goldenrod has blessed me with at least a few supers full already and I have customers asking for it. In my area of the South, when is the usual time that people do Fall extracting? It isnt all capped yet, but they are working on it.

This hive is phenomenal. I split it twice this year. Before the flow, and once after. Its still booming with a high population and was one of my main honey producers. Yup, gonna graft like crazy from this one next year.

We have never extracted fall honey that I can remember.  After summer dearth, fall honey if what got the hives through the winter.   But if you have honey supers on, you can extract when they are capped.   I would do it before frost.

Schawee...I wont get that much by no means...but still pretty cool to actually get something out of my bees after investing so much into them. 50 hives is still my target number to get within 2 more years.
