I'm silent hunter.
I've been interested in bees for some time now, and after talking to a great friend decided it was time to get a hive going. I look forward to learning and sharing what i learn along the way. Thank you to all the people who make this site great.

Glad to see you found the forum.  You will have fun catching up on everything, especially the stories of all our beekeeping adventures.  Pam and I are both looking forward to spending lots of time helping you get started.   :-D  (Pam's on here, too, as Bubca's Bees)

You will find some great videos to help.  Many beeks will post videos of various scenarios to help guide others through problems.  Many of the videos are just plain fun, too!

Have fun learning and sharing your upcoming adventures in beekeeping.  HMMM, perhaps it's time I buy a video camera so we can post the more interesting "misadventures"!

Welcome to the site!

I went to High School in Eastern PA, Bucks County. Moved down south for college, stayed for grad school, and fell in love with the climate. But I always have fond memories of the state.
