I heard at a club meeting about screens being used outside of the entrance to stop robbing. As said the 'home' bees could come out the side of the screen and thus be able to find the way back inside but robber bees could not find their way in. Does anyone have a picture of one of these screen guards or give a good description of how to make it and install it.   -Mike

Micheal,

How do you set those up with your top entrances? Could you show a picture?

When I feel confident the robbing isn't going to happen, I can remove the block the bee entrance is cut into.  That allows the full length of the entrance to be open.
