These products don't seem to be available in Australia so does anyone know what do we have available to use for the driving bees out of places you don't want them?

Off the shelf products or home made concoctions?

Thanks

I heard the same but when I sent my partner to buy some she said it was very expensive so didn't get any to try.

Bee-go is butyric acid.  It smells like concentrated Vomit
Bee-quick smells like Benzaldehyde (aka artificial almond extract) and people who have tried Benzaldehyde say it works the same.  I have not tried it.

mmmm concentrated vomit ... my fav

ShaneJ

I could probably do the concentrated Vomit. Does it matter if its mixed with some rum or whiskey?  :-P

I'll look into the Benzaldehyde. Whats the best way of testing this stuff?

Testing what?  It's efficacy?  It's purity?

For efficacy,  I'd just use it when you need it and see... or clear a super with it...

Yeah I did mean testing how effective it is. Wouldn't want to rely on it when doing a job and find it doesn't work, or find that it actually makes the bees angry.
