HI all went threw my hives last couple days and they are full of honey i have two deeps and one medium setup configuration.  Medium is full of honey on top of hives and two bottom deeps have honey and pollen in them.   Should i remove the medium and extract it and put it back on so they have comb to store nectar in??? Also should i extract any of the deep frames and re install so there is room for brood /???  any thoughts would be great. Thanks Chris

Thanks for asking this ?, as I have exactly the same problem, only in topbar hives.
The pedigree of honey
Does not concern the bee;
A clover, any time, to him
Is aristocracy.

Leave it on and watch them swarm, or maybe extract and give them some room.
Now, if I had that same problem I would be splitting some hives...........

Same here.  Just now I added 8 foundation less frames to a hive to start this years comb building.

I would rather not extract, since some of the honey may be actually capped sugar buzz from last fall, but I do have eight frames of fresh spring honey put in just in the last 2 weeks.  I might extract that later.

I plan to Splits in about a week.

I plan on doing splits the first week of April if I have flying drones.
