After thanking about getting started with bees for the last three years I finely did it. I've been reading, watching videos, hanging out here and on the net. Checked out Backyard Beekeeping from the library, boy there is more to this that it looks.

I have two packages of bees coming April 14. One10 frame hive put together and painted and also another hive, three medium suppers and other things I need or think I need ordered and on the way.

I have learned a good bit from this forum and if you'll don't mind I will be asking for guideance.

ps last night about dark a bee just showed up on my work table in my shop around some frames I had layed out, first bee I've seen around my house this year. Just for the fun of it I got him on my finger and put him in my empty hive for the night ;).

thanks

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
