Greetings from Ohio- had bees a few years now.
Will take this opportunity to ask a quick question - can I eat honey from a deadout?
I usually just feed back, but everyone came out of winter with serious stores remaining except for one that I left a super on overwinter, and the cover blew off in a storm a month ago and they perished. Not looking to do many splits, and still have a few frozen deeps in the freezer.
I dont treat.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If you didn't treat or feed sugar water last fall, I would think that you'd be ok.

If it is honey, then yes you can eat it and welcome to the forum.

Welcome Larry.  I'm also from south central Ohio, what part do you hail from?

Welcome to the forum.  Probably safe to consume.

That's a ways from where I'm at now.  I lived in Athens for a while.  Good friend runs the hotel on Blennerhassett.
