Two Swarms-Today & Yesterday

One Yesterday & one today. Had two other swarm calls today. One went to Emil which I wound up helping on, one other flew the coup before I could get there. The one with Emil I took some footage to possibly share later. Those flew into the rear of a Tire Kingdom about 20-25' up. Emil did a great job getting the queen before they moved into an acoustic ceiling.

I do get a small percentage of people that want to keep bees on their property. In fact I just did a removal this past Friday & met one heck of a guy. Cool guy wants to keep bees, has a ton of land. He now has two hives (I set up) on his property and I will be mentoring him as well as keeping some there of my own.

That was really fun JP. Wonderful how Emil got that queen. Curious to know if this was indeed one swarm or two?? Guess the virgin queen, if there was one, gets killed by the mated queen?

Tricky, I'm ten miles from New Orleans. Where you located? I do some hunting up in Talulah.

Annette, for some reason this swarm was all over the place but did finally settle down. We only saw a few drones, literally so I'm thinking she could be mated but the queen was kinda small.

Deer.

My new favorite show is Duck Dynasty. I believe Jase and I just might be related. When he says there's nothing more exciting on earth than catching frogs I had to chuckle because I pretty much feel the same way.

This big guy was under my stand this past season!

Yes, I deer hunt on Tensas & Big Lake off Crystal road. We used to hunt there when the road was sloppy and you'd get stuck at least three times if you didn't have four wheel drive, which we didn't.

The bear encounter was on Big Lake, had two come in. The one pictured chewed on my hoist rope. It was awesome!

We watched Duck Dynasty tonight. I'm addicted, I think my wife now too.
