What is the best place in the world for beekeeping? and where is most popular?

Depends on what factors you focus on.  Australia doesn't have varroa mites (yet).  That sounds good to me.

In terms of climate, central Africa might be the best, or maybe southeast Asia.   But logistics and availability of equipment and knowledge make the US and Europe prime areas.

In the US the best honey production comes from the upper midwest (Minnesota and North Dakota) and from Louisiana (wetlands and swamps offer year-round forage).  So if honey production is your measure, those areas are the best in the US.

The best place could be most anywhere.  The best for me since I am just a hobbist beek is in my backyard.

I would have to agree with the my backyard answer.   China produces more honey than any other country.   Period.   The Unites States is either 3rd or 4th or 5th.

Joe stole my answer: best place is where you are. Could also be where no one spray chemicals.
Why would you want to go to China just for bees? Central Africa - i lived there 2 yrs - if you are ready to deal with African bees
Sprechen Sie Deutch? Et connais-tu le vocabulaire de l'apiculture en francais? Gotta learn a brand new beekeeping linguo. i always mix sheep and bees in Spanish. i end up oftentimes raising few colonies of sheep (or is it flocks of bees).
