Dead Larvae at hive entrance

Hey, I am a new beekeeper who just got my first two hives this past Saturday. I live in a southern suburb of Atlanta, GA. It has been rainy the last couple of days and I have not opened my hives since I got them. Well I did peek inside the covers late yesterday evening, but just for a few seconds. This morning, I see several white dead larvae at the entrance. Is this normal? or did I cause the brood to cool and die last night when I peeked inside?

how cool was the weather? I presume by a peek, you mean you didn't remove any frames?

No I did not take any frames out and it was about 60. Could there be any other reasons for this?

a few dead larva in spring is common.  dont sweat it

Thanks, Guys. I am so new I don't know what to be worried about, so I will worry about everything for a while. :)
