You have to watch out for those swarm.   Hords of killer bees, landing where ever they want, and with out a permit to land there.   Then I bet a been collects them with wearing the protective clothing required by law.   Does the permit that covers the mother hive cover that swarm also?   Non permitted swarms, unregulated.  The city should do something about this.

Maybe placing swarms traps out?

I think it's sad they take crime in stride as a part of city life but get all distressed by a swarm that they do not understand.

This was my favorite part!

"In Brooklyn, the Navy Yard just created the biggest habitat with 20 hives and 20 million bees."

1 million bees per hive????  Boy, they sure know how to build em up in New York!!!  ;  )

buzzbee

Wow,what are they feeding them? :-D

After further thought, maybe they should get Homeland Security involved.

Unfortunately, "you can't fix stupid".
I know you think you understand what you thought I said I meant but what you heard is not what I said.

The White House has a bee hive. Is the President safe?....who cares!

I wonder how much they pay the White House beekeeper to manage the hive? I wonder if they formed a new bee dept with all the employees and legal staff to over see the beekeeper and make sure he follows the recommendations of the firm they hired to do the analysis. Next will be the need to cut expenses so they will let the beekeeper go. I'm just saying! ;)

Here is a somewhat negative article on bees in New York....the land of regulated soft drinks.

But, but ... The Post is a sensationalist tabloid with a conservative editorial page. They are proud of promoting the consumption of more corn syrup than the human body can handle!

Watch out!  Bloomberg is trying to ban large sodas so he could easily try to ban dangerous bees!
