If I put 2 swarm traps on the same roof does it increase my chances of catching a swarm, or will it have the opposite effect?

North, south, east, west? Which is best?

I had 3 traps on my back porch this spring along with a hive from last years swarm trap there.  I now have 3 hives there all from swarms that moved into the traps.   They are facing all directions.   The top rail of the porch is about 15 foot off the ground.

Thanks for the advise, just have to cross my fingers and wait  :bee:

The roof is on a friends barn close to a be yard with a keeper that does not give his hives enough space in time.

I have already been called out to pick up av swarm that had landed on a lady's snow shovels  8-)

Better that a beekeeper catches a swarm than they take up residence in somebody's wall or attic .

I caught 7 swarms this year, in 3 trees, 2 swarms per tree and 3 swarm in 1 tree.  The tree I caught 3 swarm in had 1 swarm 1 morning got them, the next day, in the afternoon it had 2 swarms.  One on 1 limb and the other swarm on another.  Caught all 7 in a week.
