Can someone tell me if triangle faces up or down on bee escape?

the screen goes to the outside of where you want them to exit to.
those hot bees will have you steppin and a fetchin like your heads on fire and your keister is a catchin!!!

Bees will be bees and do as they please!

OK thanks,so if I have 2 supers on and want to clear the top one, I put the bee escape between the 2, hopefully cleaning out the top super???
