I had acquired a SHB trap(s) that are essentially a trays filled with oil that resides in the bottom board area, the trays may be withdrawn via the rear of the hive for servicing/cleaning. In order to establish a level hive 1/4" -20 x 2" hex bolts and T-Nuts were implemented see urls for details; that information was not provided by the vendor. The levelers (bolts/T-Nuts) also allow for some control of ants, see urls for details.

I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.

Your hive and trap looks good and should help on the SHB's.  I got some plastic containers that would fit between the concrete blocks used for hive stands, put used cooking oil and apple cider vinegar in them.  Every now and then you have to empty, clean and refill.  Good luck with your bees.
