This must be set to let everyone view. The only other problem is those that dont do face book will not be able to see. Your privacy settings have me blocked out right now.

The Facebook worked for me.   Youtube may be easier for folks to view.   Great video.

Good going there GB.  And your wife held the camera still for the entire shoot.
Congrats.

Changed the settings to public.

Don't know about the videos stuff. Feel kinda foolish. But I lived through it. :)

Thanks blanc.

One can only hope. :)

Nice video GB - only thing I do differently is that I do not put the inner cover between the bees (deep hive body) and the feeder.  Maybe you have it right but I haven't used the inner cover at all while feeding - Just bottom board, deep hive body, feeder and outer cover.  Once you remove the feeder then put the inner cover between the bees and the outer cover.

Just a thought - other than that you look you have things headed in the right direction.  Welcome to beekeeping!

Just a thought for you, most people remove the syrup can and queen before shaking the bees out the box. Less chance of injuring the queen.

Georgia Boy

To dfizer: I placed it there thinking they would climb through the hole in the inner cover and get to the feeder that way. I was hoping to minimize the burr comb they might build on the bottom of the feeder. I realized that might be a mistake when I checked later and saw they were not feeding. So Sunday I moved the inner cover up to the top and now they are feeding.

To tefer2: I was following the video posted by buzzbee on pkg installation. I also manly shook the bees out instead of banging them trying to make sure I didn't jar the queen too much. But you are right most people do it the other way. I just don't like the banging.
