I've been thinking today about all the challenges that face beekeepers and their bees and I started wondering what you would consider to be the biggest enemy of the beekeeper?

the varroa mite, the small hive beetle, the migratory pollination industry and beekeepers that rush to dump a different pesticide into their hives every fall.  after that i'd say that the push by the current administration to convert us to ethanol.

Beekeepers biggest enemy?  Politicians

Bees biggest enemy?   humans

They are not the same, you know.   Politicians and humans, that is.

Ignorance...  :?

The politicians,
The public,
The beeks, and
Yes, even the wife...

Enemies will evolve.  When one is neutralized, another shall appear.

Knowledge is needed to keep them pacified.

That is the turn my thoughts took when pondering the question today, glad that someone else thinks along the same lines as I do...

The wife

Sad but true. Maybe she will come around some day.

I'm sorry...but this is just hilarious...then again many often do not think like I do.
