Bitter cold this year!  Worried about losses and looking for leads on packages.  If anyone has info on package deliver to Rochester/Buffalo area it would be appreciated.  Seems that bees keep getting more expensive and farther away.  Looking for folks delivering packages around $100.  Buffalo about 1 hour away and perhaps there may be package delivery out of OH.  Again any leads would be appreciated.
Thank you and regards,

Welcome as well. I'm new at this, but from what I've read you don't want to get your bees from down south. Some think the genetics aren't there to survive the cold weather.

I 've bought a few packages from Drapers which is in Millerton, pa, no cost for shipping if you pick them up. only about two hours from Rochester according to google.

I know someone in Forestville, NY (South of Buffalo) that goes down south and brings up packages and nucs. You'd have to order before he goes down, & there is no delivery, you pick up. Don't know the price of the nucs but the packages last year were $81.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll forward on his information.

Thanks,
Walt
