A question for Mr. Bush

Do you still cut your frame sides down to 1 1/4 inches to use in your
8 frame equipment? Or were these just used to put 11 frames in a 10 frame box.
If so do you use these in the supers and brood boxes.

Yes.  Most of my 8 frame boxes have 9 frames in them.

Same difference, different boxes.

I use them wherever I need them, but if it's a box that I'm expecting to get filled with honey I space them 1 1/2" (7 in an eight frame box, 9 in a ten frame box) or 1 3/4" (6 in an eight frame box or 8 in a ten frame box).

I can't say I cut all of them down, although I'd love to, but I cut a lot of them down.  The PF120s are not cut down, it's just too much trouble.  For them I put a PermaComb in the center, which has no spacers and put 9 in an 8 frame box that way.
