Jars under TBH for feeding/traps, what do you think?

have just created this kind of system for my half-barrel TBH, what do you think. any mods you would recommend?

I don't use anything like that, although I did make beetle traps similar to that once (which a friend still uses).

Did you put the bees in the hive yet?

Not yet, am still in construction stage - just have to make the top bars now and I'm good to go :)

Although it's taken so long that I now suspect the time to catch a swarm has probably passed :(
