I ordered some supplies from Mann Lake this morning. When my total came up to $106.80 I had red notice on every page I look at that said I was qualified for free shipping. When I hit the Send Order button I notice all of a sudden I was getting charged $39.80 for hipping. When I came in from the shop I called Mann Lake and the Lady who answered the Phone told me I did in fact qualify for free shipping but I have to wait till Monday for it to get corrected.

I sure hope it does get fixed. $38.80 shipping on a $106.80 order  is way more than I want to pay for items that can be shipped in one box and probably not weigh more than 5 or 6 lbs.

I have ordered from them and found if I ordered during the week, all was good. Weekend ordering caused the shipping to show up, but they corrected it the next working day. In short, I have not had a problem with ordering from ML.  -Mike

Same here, there prices are competitive or even better. In particular when you add others shipping. I have used them and had no issues for the past couple years. I like their wood frames. I used to use Kelly but after the buy out change seems the prices aren't as good. Maybe just me?

I have ordered a lot of equipment from Mann Lake and I have never paid for shipping. Orders have always been correct and quick deliveries.

Not to worry, same here. Excellent dealings with them. Don't forget to ask for the Mann Lake points(?) dollars(?) or something. Basically you accumulate credits when you buy from them. I bought all my start up from them and got a pretty nice chunk of change to apply to the next order. I think it's called "Bee Bucks". I got a letter telling me that it was a certain amount, not long after I got a corrected amount which was a lot higher.

I signed up for the Bee Bucks. I think you have to buy $800 to use them.

Never had a problem with them, was short one item once and it was shipped out immediately at no cost.

I'm sure they will correct it.

I have found mann lake to have great customer service. They probably just need to wait for some office person to do the computer work.
Keeping bees since 2011.

Also please excuse the typos.  My iPad autocorrect can be brutal.

I have been wondering how that works. I have requested my bee bucks be applied and they never are. So, it's gotta be an $800 order. Now I know.

ML will fix it dont worry. I havent ordered near as much as Im sure some other posters have, but you cant beat having it in 2 or 3 days, and shipped for free. I give ML a thumbs up. G

I have a local guy that is super on price and in some cases cheaper. A bonus is he is a quick pit stop on route from work. Did I mention he is local.

Yes this is what the young lady told me on the phone yesterday. She put a note on the order along with my phone number to make sure it gets taking care of.

I just received an E-mail form Mann Lake. The removed the shipping charge from my order. They said I click on FedX shipping, but I don't remember even hitting a shipping button. I think I didn't see that button and it was set on FedX. Either way the problem has been taken care of so I am happy.
MannLake does seem to care about their customers.

I've always had pretty good luck with Mannlake, that beebucks dealio is worth it if you're the sort to order consistently.

It will take a while for me to have enough to get any Bee bucks. I make all my own hives and frames and I am going foundationless. Also I will have just 4 hives to start. :cheesy:
