Just starting in East TN

Hi all, my name is Phil Stockman. I live in Jacksboro, TN.

I installed two packages in hives in my backyard last weekend. They seemed to struggle a bit the first couple days do to the cooler weather we've been having but they seem to be doing okay right now.

I moved to TN last year but didn't bring any bees with me. I moved up from Florida where I kept bees for about three years. How different it is here between the weather, seasonal changes, plants, etc!!! Wow! I have a lot to learn but hopefully I'll pick up on the cycles quick enough. Anyone from this area is more than welcome to contact me and pass along advice.    :)

I just found this forum last night and it looks great, thanks! I'll be poking around and hopefully making some sensible posts where I can and asking plenty of my own questions too.
