Have you rebuilt one of these chargers or know someone who has?

I have a couple I would like to rebuild. Wonder if they will sell parts reasonably. I would like to repair these myself.

This is where I would go. Wellscroft can fix all major brands of electric fence charges.

Has any one repaired a parmak fence charger or has a friend who has done that?

I know Parmak will repair them for a high price.

I have sent quite a few back to Parmak for repair.  I don't think I have ever paid more than $50 to get them fixed.   I would pick them up at sales for cheap since they didn't work and send them to get fixed.   Saves a bunch of money over buying new.

I have repaired and tried to repair a few. They usually get damaged by lightning. The hot wire makes one long antenna and every close lightning bolt gets the ones that are not protected. One took a solid hit and not much left, even the case is blown open, it was a small one for dogs. Many times I just find a wire burned open and I just solder it back together. See if there is a fuse inside that you can replace.
