Hello to everyone!
I am new to bee keeping,  I have been helping with my dads hives for about 3 years now and just got my own hives going.  And is typically my fashion when I get a new hobby I jump all in.  I am one of those people that read anything and everything I can on topics I am interested in, then filter it through common sense and lessons learned the hard way.  I started with 3 nucs I purchased this year and have already increased that to 4 by doing my first cut out.   I love watching the bees work and I am always amazed at what they are capable.  I am glad to be a part of the forum and look forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks

Welcome the forum.

I'd recommend you join either the Collin County Beekeepers Association or Trinity Valley Beekeepers Association.  Collin County is dominant and has more members, but inconvenient for me, so I belong to TVBA, which has some great programs and lots of good people.

You can learn a lot on this forum and when you have questions, everybody is eager to help, so feel free to ask about just about anything.
