Honey Labeling

I've been looking for an understanding of the labeling laws. Basically, what goes on the label? Someone told me that you don't have to put the ingredients because it's not cooked or something. Here's what I've found so far;

Each state varies.In NC, it must have  PURE HONEY, weight, and contact info.

I don't claim to know every state's laws but all I've seen on most honey jars in most places is "Pure Honey".

Honey packing-labeling laws  laws differ from state to state. The ingredients labeling is probably based on not processed. In other-words you do not add anything to, cook etc. Contact Ala Ag Dept. They should be able to help you.

Don't see anything directly related to the label like our state. Size of letters and label, contacts etc. Looks pretty liberal...jsut has to be honey and not an adulterated product.
