Do bees rotate stock?

When folks, or grocery stores, get more product in, the new is placed in the back of the shelf so the old will be used first. I was curious if bees do something similar. What made me think of this is every year I wonder if I'm eating sugar water honey or nectar honey.

My guess is that as the bees eat their stores during a flow, the empty cells are filled with nectar behind them. Or something to that sort.
When the law no longer protects you from the corrupt, but protects the corrupt from you - then you know your nation is doomed.

That's what happens. If they didn't they would have so much empty comb there would be no room for the bees. But I have found hives so large that their was comb that hadhoney that looked like it had not need touched by the bees for over a year.  Bees are constantly making new comb and if room is available to them  will have comb with honey in areas far away from the hive mass.
