Late season mite testing and treatment

Hi! My name is Matt, this is my first post here. I live in Charlotte, NC, and I have one hive that I started from a nuc end of June. 

It's warm here still, and rainy. It won't freeze until mid-December. So I think it's late to look for and treat for mites but maybe not?

Anyway, two weekends ago I put a sticky board under for 24 hrs. There were about 20 mites on the board.  Then I smoked them good. This Saturday I put the board back under, and dusted them all as good as I could with powdered sugar. I left that for about 12 hours, and there were only 6-8 mites.

So I'm not sure how to interpret these amounts. Is this something I need to treat with e.g. OA? Or are these levels low-reasonable?
