I just got back from a vacation in Hawaii.  Before I went I looked up a beekeeper and had time to visit his place.  Unfortunately he wasn't there but he had a great operation going on for gardening and beekeeping.  What he had made my wife jealous.  We stayed a week on Maui after a week cruise.  The people in Hawaii are so friendly and trusting.  It restores your faith in human beings.  Don't ever miss a chance to go if you can afford it.

I went to the big Island in January and it was nice. I really enjoyed it toured some coffee farms and thought it was a really interesting place.

I don't drink coke so I wouldn't know but I don't think gas was 10 dollars.  Milk was 9 dollars and eggs were 7 to 9 (organic).  Funny that something locally grown was so expensive.  Sugar is on the way out and they are hoping to grow coffee in it's place but I doubt it will be as big as sugar was.
