Hi everyone!

A little bit about us...

Still somewhat new to beekeeping.  Hoping to learn much more and continue to grow our a?pi?ar?y.

We live in North Central California in Central Valley area.  Started with one hive, now up to six hives.  Hope to grow to 30 by the end of the year.

Presently in the beginning stages of a massive Eucalyptus bloom that only occurs every two years.

Caught our first swarm in a trap last week.  Hived it yesterday.

So far, we treated with Apivar and OA vaporization.

Lost our first hive to ants.  Found a beek with a nice design for an ant proof beehive stand.  Built one and never had an ant touch the bees again.

That's our story.

What's yours?

Soar
