Honey super soon?

Another question about timing. I installed a nuc at the end of May and just put a second brood box on a week ago with fully drawn comb (from last year's honey super). Just checked the hive and the bees are all over the frames in the second box. There are lots of eggs and the girls seem very busy repairing the comb. How soon do you think I can add a honey super? The daisies are just starting here, milkweed will be starting soon and lots of trees are in bloom. I'm in central Ontario.

Am I rushing things? I don't care if I get any honey this year, I just want to make sure they have enough room and keep busy.

Oh one more question. I saw several bees dragging dead bodies out. Is this just normal housecleaning? I saw at least half a dozen either being pulled out or bodies just dumped on the grass in front of the hive.

Wait till they have that second box relatively filled and covered with bees. The more bees the faster they will work your boxes. Giving them too much space slows them down. They will carry out dead bees. A lot all of a sudden might mean something, but if things look well at the entrance I wouldn't worry.
