Update on the open air colony

Some really nice video today....most of the foragers were out doing their thing so  a good view of the comb....this thing is so cool I am looking forward to watching it grow :-)

Very cool video, thanks, and we have such hives in caves as well as overhangs etc. here in Arizona, sit and watch them now and again and interesting as all get out.

I don't suppose you got up to examine closely, but where would you expect the brood nest to be?

On these 2 in caves in a wash it appeared to be in the center of the colony similar to what we see in a brood box, but not all nice and organized as our man made home designed for easy harvest of their honey stores.
