New to beekeeping  a college friend and I purchased a flow hive a almost a year ago. We purchased a box of bees from a Mississippi honey dealer the hive is doing well so far. Have lots to learn and was told this is a place that can happen.

Psparr

Welcome! Lots to learn here, especially the difference of opinions.  Let us know how the flow hive works.

Thank you Psparr, Yes, I've read some of these "opinions" regarding this new system, and i understand the worry the community has regarding it and the "novelty beekeepers" I did not do this for the novelty of it. The goal is to learn what i can and get good at it with this hive then get another one but the traditional style to place next to it.

Rurification

Welcome to the forum.   Lots of great people here, very friendly and knowledgeable.   It's a great place to learn.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the flow....I think everyone's biggest beef is the deceptive advertising the flow people created....so little of beekeeping is about the harvest :-)
