NO SPRAY FLAG

Can anyone give me information on the flag to fly at my property to warn the mosquito sprayers not to spray due to my bee hives being in this area. where can I purchase one or hat is the colors and design to make one?

Where I live in Florida you have to call mosquito control and have them add you to the gps system. The driver just drives and the gps system turns the poison on and off.  I had my address added a few months ago.

Thanks, I intend to do that, but I know that there is a flag that also notifies the sprayer that bees are in the area. I will contact them next week.

There's nothing in 'The Rules' about visual signals from the ground being obeyed by civilian aircraft, so I guess it muct be a local (regional) requirement.

An aircraft shall not be operated in a negligent or reckless manner so as to endanger life or property of others.

3.1.4 Dropping or spraying
Nothing shall be dropped or sprayed from an aircraft in flight except under conditions prescribed by the appropriate authority and as indicated by relevant information, advice and/or clearance from the appropriate air traffic services unit.

Many international visual signals are based on maritime signalling, and there are several which specify "Stay clear of me", for various reasons. Code 'B' (appropriate ?) - a red flag - would seem a good candidate, although it more usually refers to dangerous cargoes.

It'll be interesting to hear what you dig up on this one.

I have a couple of flags to warn the spraying trucks or aircraft that there is a beeyard in that vicinity.
Only thing is it is about 15 inches square, yellow with black stripes.
I don't see how a plane could see this flag with the color of the background vegetation.

A flags a great idea. Where I live the only thing they wild is call in advance once a person is registered but will still spray.
