Hi everybody
First of all, great forum and been a great help on my learning journey.
Well got my first hive nearly 12 months ago and have another hive coming very soon.
I would like to tell you It has been very exciting learning more about the amazing little insects and In my first 12months I have had my hive swarm then caught the swarm then lost the swarm  .
I got caught out with this really cold and wet weather we are having and the first nice hot day we had I went to have a look and they looked like they were going to swarm and they did.

More reading to do

Cheers
Len

Welcome Len, from just north of your border.

I've been researching bees for about 9 years, but am still to acquire my first hive :( Hopefully within a month I will have some finally, although in 9 years I still realise I haven't learnt anything until I've actually tried to maintain my own hives, so I'm still a newbie.

Russell.
