Splitting from a 10 frame deep into a top bar hive

I have a friend who is wanting a split from my 10 frame deep. I don't have a problem with this except that he has made a top bar hive. Here is the problem of course, how to do that without making it too hard for myself and without destroying frames.
Does anyone have some suggestions?

I have successfully put some of the bars in my Lang for them to draw.  I used wire hangers because they were short.  I put them in the brood nest and the queen was laying in it directly.  You can then shake a swarm and the comb will give them a boost and anchor.

Where is the queen coming from?  Your hive, the new hive, purchased?

If you run the top bar frame or 2 maybe in the deep hive until they have brood and eggs, find the queen so you don 't transfer her, and transfer the top bar frames with bees on them to the new hive or 4 frame nuc, with a frame of honey.
If you have eggs on the frame they will form a new queen cell (hopefully) and you are away.
You must transfer the nurse bees that are on the top bar frames as they will provide the royal jelly for the new queen cell and feed the remaining eggs and grubs.
