I have watched this channel a few times, some how it never got programmed into my Direct-TV because I think I always caught cattle auctions - it's good to see they have other programming. Thanks!!!

i saw episodes 1 & 4. i think it was 1 last night. 4 on saturday. its interesting but its like this forum. everyone seems to have their own way of doing things.

Darn, it's the same episodes I just paid $70 to see. I could have just TiVo'd them. A few months back, when I decided to take on this hobby, I looked at all the different "beginner text" books and decided on this great one - A Year in the life of an Apiary by Dr. Keith Delaplane. It was pretty good, comes with 2 VHS tapes each with 4 episodes and a 130+ page text. It was my first exposure to beekeeping and I think it was basically good and covered all the bases, maybe a little outdated. Guess I have the book though, I have referred to it many times, not worth $70 alone though. Maybe you can get a better deal :wink:
