A new beekeeper and this is my first winter coming up. My question is ....do I need to do anything??  While the days have cooled here on the Gold Coast,  there is plenty flowering, heaps of pollen coming in and it seems like life as normal with frames still filling with honey. Do I just live and live??

Basically yes.  I do not know what your setup is but if you do decide to extract just make sure they have enough resources to get them through should it turn cold.

On the coast - perfectly OK to take some capped honey. Harvest, don't rob eg don't over-do it.
You should have tea tree flowering now and the honey is dark. I would take some of the medium honey off while you can.

How many hives do you have?

Thank you. I have 3 Hives and will do a split to make 4 come Spring. Extracted 12.25 kg last Monday and that will do until the Spring flow
