Sacred Venom

I beekeep on a magical island known as Vieques. It is FILLED with bees in a healthy thriving ecology. I have only seen one varroa mite ever on any bee colony on this island and I squished that bee and took it away from the colony. Miraculous things happen here with bees. They are truly still a force of nature here. I do removals and look after 50 colonies on the island. Greetings, glad to be here.

"I beekeep on a magical island known as Vieques."

I had the fortune to spend a week on Vieques Island in the summer of 1970 playing war games with the 82nd Airborne Division.  What a gorgeous place it was then!   I hope all went well for you and others during and following the storms.
