Modify a post, how to correct a simple mistype?

How can I modify a post after I have posted the text?  Also how much time for corrections?

My post are made with an iPhone, latest version.
Example, I text to Beepro, posted the text only to realize the name was incorrect, berpro.
I just made another post and noted correction.

Van,
On the top right hand side is the word ?modify?. You will only see it above your text. You can modify your text with no indication until someone else adds a text. After that it will add a note with the date you modified.
