"Jarrah and marri honey samples were submitted for a phenol equivalence assay, which
compared resistance against Staphylococcus aureus, otherwise known as golden staph.
The results confirm work being done by WA's government laboratory, the ChemCentre
which has also found the forest honeys are anti-inflammatory, high in antioxidants and
are good for human gut health."

... well hello.!.. me ol' Aunt Jessie forced a tablespoon of
honey down our throats immediately after the tablespoon of
warmed castor oil, any Sunday after church.
"Good for yer gut" she muttered whilst pinching yer nostrils.

... every time I drive by a church I rub me belly and moan ;-))

You know what they say
"A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down."
My grandma used to make my uncle take a spoon full of honey and a spoon full of vinigar every day.

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.

Our DIL gets into the apple cider vinegar... something from her British heritage I suspect.
It has to be this one, none other will she use.

Funnily enough she refuses "raw" honey to use what little she does of shop bought
honey, she says because it's "safe" . The "use by" date has something to do with this
as her larder is ran on "use by" dates.

Missed this thread. Our main flow.
Marri trees blooming here at the moment as good as last year with nectar showers when you pluck off some blossom.
I'm wondering if the nectar itself has the same properties as the bees produce.
