Honestly Bill if you want to be consistent with your line of thought you probably should not be a beekeeper. Any kind of human interaction is making more work for the bees. I have seen bees with massive hives inside a wall of a house spanning through insulation and studs. The entrance was a tiny hole in the side of the wall. They weren't forced into that wall to the contrary they chose it.
